Matt brings over two decades of experience in Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Strategy, Energy & Operations to his role. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investment Banking at Capitol Peak Asset Management, a merchant bank designing and implementing asset-based public-private partnerships, primarily at the U.S. Federal Government department level. Prior to joining Capitol Peak, Matt advised Morgan Stanley’s Chief Operating Officer as a member of the Firm Strategy & Execution group, developing and implementing strategic initiatives and leading internal M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Matt served as an investment banker at Moelis & Company, where he made significant contributions to the Firm’s Public Sector business and executed numerous transactions and restructurings in the Financial Institutions and Energy space. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Matt worked in business development for GE Energy and coordinated the work of R&D and business unit personnel in the development and implementation of new renewable energy products.

Matt holds a B.S., cum laude, in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic. Additionally, he holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and FINRA Series 7, 24, 50, 63 and 79 licenses.
